I was watching the food network and came across the following. What a great idea ---- What to do with leftover rice from your Chinese Take Out Dinner. Even better if the rice is brown. You could even use bastmati or jasmine (brown of course). So if you don’t have take out leftovers then double your recipes and make your own left overs. Rice always works better the next day. As you probably noticed I don’t have the points worked out. I first have to figure out how many it serves. You can tell how many it serves by how much rice is called for. For instance 1 quart leftover rice is the same as 4 cups. I wanted to get this out and will work on the points and report on it later on this blog. If anyone wants to help great. But the leftover rice ideas are great and I’m sure you can add other ideas. I think the last idea where you fry the rice cakes could be costly. So be careful until we know the points. I left the suggested portions but I would change them to 4 not 2 servings depending on how much rice you use as a serving. Here is a link to the recipe: The Life Spanof Rice
