Mercy Airlift is the non-profit humanitarian organization, which provides air transportation, emergency aid, medical services, recovery assistance, and sustainable human development programs to disaster victims and impoverished populations worldwide. We also provide logistical and transportation services to other organizations, assisting them in their efforts to provide emergency assistance to those in need.

With a natural disaster or man-made disaster in the United States or a hurricane like Katrina or hurricane Rita, or famine and drought in Africa, Central America, South America or medical relief flights and transportation throughout the world; Mercy Airlift has the volunteer staff ready to travel to disaster sites on short or long term mission trips nearly anyplace in the world.

The mission of Mercy Airlift to provide humanitarian aid on a nondiscriminatory and impartial basis to the victims of natural and man made disasters wherever they occur in the world.  
The mission of Mercy Airlift is supplying humanitarian aid and disaster relief to victims of manmade and natural disasters anyplace in the world on a nondiscriminatory basis regardless of religion and or background.

People who have lost everything due to man-made disasters, natural disasters, born into poverty or who have lost everything not be their own doings are the victims we serve in providing them with Mercy Kits which help them with the basics of life.  There are millions of people throughout the world who need these basic supplies.  You individually, and  groups can help us distribute these kits and supplies to those who are in need of basic supplies.

A major disaster be it a man-made disaster or a natural disaster such as an earthquake can strike a heavily populated area or the world, leaving thousands homeless, injured and dead.  To recover they need assistance from Mercy Airlift.  Economic losses often run into the billions of dollars.  Droughts, famines, fires, floods, tsunamis, explosions and hurricanes all cause a tremendous loss of life and ruin fragile economies. 

In providing disaster relief for many years, our experience shows us that securing air transportation is the greatest problem in providing disaster relief aid and recovery assistance and services.  This is the reason Mercy operates its own aircraft.  We are able then to immediately respond to disaster sites ensuring direct onsite distribution of life-saving supplies, materials and equipment to those people who need immediate assistance.

Organization

As we are the only organization in the humanitarian services community to provide complete services and air transportation, we are called upon by other organizations to help them in the airlifting of their emergency supplies to the disaster sites around the world.
